Your website analytics, in Slack

Ask what broke, which pages lose people, and whether the site got slower. Answers come from real visitor sessions, in the channel you are already in.

Verified against the live Slack app, August 2026.

What it does

Answers questions about your site

Ask in plain language and get an answer from your own visitor data: which element people tap and nothing happens, which page they stop scrolling on, what changed since last week. No query builder, no dashboard tour.

# growthHarvv answering in a channel Y You @Harvv what broke on the site this week? H Harvv AGENT Two new issues since Monday, both on mobile: 1. The size selector on product pages takes 3 taps to register. 41 sessions hit it. 2. Checkout button below the fold on iPhone SE. 18 sessions scrolled past it. Want the sessions for either one? Posts new findings on its own

Pick a channel and Harvv posts each newly detected issue there as it is found, with the page, the element, how many real sessions hit it, and what to do. Problems reach the people who can fix them without anyone remembering to check.

What you can ask it

What broke on my site this week?
Newly detected issues, ranked by how many real sessions hit them, with the page and element named.
Which pages lose the most people?
Per-page drop-off from real sessions: where visitors stop scrolling, hesitate, or leave.
Did my checkout get slower?
Core Web Vitals for the window you ask about, compared against the same window before it, with a significance test so a noisy day is not reported as a regression.
Why is mobile converting worse than desktop?
The behavioural split by device: scroll depth, dead clicks, rage clicks and hesitation, per segment.
Which ad campaign sends the worst traffic?
Per-campaign behaviour from the click IDs already on every session, compared against your own non-paid traffic. No ad spend, and it says so.
Show me the newest findings.
Everything detected since you last looked, in plain language, with the fix for each.

Where to ask

Three places, all equivalent. The one that catches people out is Slack's own built-in Slackbot: it is a separate app, so anything typed to it never reaches Harvv and never gets an answer.

In a channel, invite the app with /invite @Harvv so it can read the thread and follow up questions work.

Slackwhere to ask Slackbot Channels # growth AGENTS & APPS Harvv 1. The Messages tab Open Harvv in the sidebar and type. 2. @Harvv in a channel Anywhere the app has been invited. 3. /harvv anywhere Works even where the app is not a member. Slackbot is a different app and cannot reach Harvv.

Setting it up

  1. Connect from Harvv, not from Slack. Settings, then Integrations, then Connect on the Slack card. Harvv is not in the Slack app directory.
  2. Approve it in Slack and pick the workspace.
  3. Type /harvv setup in Slack and choose the site to answer about plus the channel for new findings.
  4. Check it worked with /harvv check, which tests the connection, the permissions, and whether Slack is really delivering messages to Harvv.

Questions

Can I get website analytics in Slack?

Yes. Harvv puts a bot in your Slack workspace that answers questions about your website in plain language: what broke this week, which pages lose people, whether your site got slower. You ask in a message; it reads your real visitor data and answers in the channel. It can also post new findings to a channel you pick, so problems reach you without anyone opening a dashboard.

How do I ask Harvv a question in Slack?

Three ways, and all of them work. Open the Harvv app in your Slack sidebar and type in the Messages tab. Or type @Harvv followed by your question in any channel the app has been invited to. Or type /harvv followed by your question anywhere in Slack, including channels the app is not in. Slack's own built-in Slackbot is a separate app and cannot reach Harvv, so questions typed to Slackbot never arrive.

Does it work with Shopify?

Yes. Harvv records orders through the Shopify Web Pixel, so the Slack bot can answer revenue and conversion questions without any Google Analytics connection. One limit worth knowing: the pixel fires in the shopper's browser, so it sees online store orders and not draft orders, point of sale, phone orders, or marketplace channels routed through apps like Sellbrite. The bot says so whenever it quotes a revenue figure.

Do I need to be an admin to use it?

To connect it, yes: someone with a Harvv account installs the app into the workspace once. After that anyone in the workspace can ask the bot questions. Answers cover the sites on the Harvv account that connected it, and questions draw on that account's credit balance.

Can it answer about more than one site?

Yes. If your Harvv account has several sites, the bot answers across all of them and cites each finding to a site by name. Name a site in your question and it answers about that one. If your account has more sites than it can load into a single conversation, it says how many exist and which ones are not loaded rather than quietly reporting the smaller number.

Does the bot remember the conversation?

Yes, within a conversation. It reads the recent messages in the DM, channel, or thread you are in, so follow-up questions like "why?" or "show me that page" work without repeating yourself. In a channel the app has to be a member for this to work: invite it with /invite @Harvv.

What does it cost?

The Slack app is included on every Harvv plan, including the free one. Questions use the same chat credits as the dashboard, where one credit is one question. There is no separate charge for connecting Slack.

How do I turn it off?

In Harvv, open Settings, then the Integrations tab, then Disconnect on the Slack card. The stored token is erased immediately, so Harvv can no longer read or post in your workspace. Nothing is deleted from your Harvv account and you can reconnect later.
